ZIG-ZAG THREE-PHASE TRANSFORMER
The Zig-Zag transformer provides a low impedance path for zero-sequence components under fault conditions, making it ideal as a grounding transformer in a delta-connected system (without a neutral terminal) or in a star-connected system without grounding (three-terminal star) where the neutral is not available for grounding.
