    It has been three decades of continuous innovation and trying to stay at the leading edge, that today we get to be recognized as a leading company in the manufacturing of electrical transformers of up to 20MVA. ITESA has become an industry leader, and it is establishing itself as the country’s biggest exporter and ranking 11th among the top exporters in the region. 

    This achievement has only been possible thanks to our commitment to innovation, quality and client satisfaction. These values have guided us since our beginnings in 1995. 

    Our story began in a challenging context, after a period of intense internal conflict in Peru that deeply affected the electricity sector. While many foreign investors withdrew from rebuilding this industry, our founders—specialists in switchgear and electrical transformers—decided to start their own path. Their initiative was backed by family members who enthusiastically joined the project and despite the initial challenges, we managed to consolidate and to introduce I&T Electric to the world. 

    We started with a small facility in the district of Independencia and, over time, we expanded to a larger space in Los Olivos. Our perseverance and innovation allowed us to establish strategic alliances, broaden our portfolio of products and services, and respond with excellence to the needs of our clients. Today, with a highly qualified team, we continue to lead the market with high-quality solutions that exceed our clients’ expectations. 

    It is because of our history that today we get to be recognized as a leading manufacturer of electrical transformers of up to 20MVA, electrical substations, measuring equipments, protection devices and special designs. 

    We are constantly reminding our team the importance of having an effective maintenance plan, since interruptions in power supply caused by medium-voltage transformers may lead to big economic losses for our clients.

    I&T Electric S.A.C. is a Peruvian company dedicated and specialized in the manufacturing of medium-voltage distribution and measuring transformers.

    We express our commitment through the quality of our products, our environmental protection practices, and the health and safety of our workers, which are all based on the following principles:

    Comply with the established requirements for our products in order to meet the needs of our customers.

    Protect the environment by preventing pollution and minimizing the environmental impacts caused by the development of our activities.

    Safeguard the health and safety of our workers by preventing injuries, ailments, illnesses, and work-related incidents, and maintaining safe environments for our visitors and stakeholders in general.

    Ensure the protection of the health and safety of all members of the organization.

    Carry out our activities in a safe, responsible, and sustainable manner, identifying hazards, assessing risks, and planning effective actions in order to mitigate hazards and reduce occupational health and safety risks.

    Comply with current legal and regulatory requirements towards quality, occupational health and safety, and environment protection. We also try to comply with the requirements of relevant stakeholders, voluntary programs, collective bargaining agreements, and other commitments undertaken by our company.

    Ensure that our workers and their representatives are consulted and actively participate in all elements of the Integrated Management System.
